Meet them where they are

The dynamic currently in our home is fairly unique, we have one child with moderate autism, one developmentally delayed and ADHD and one who is RAD, and ADHD but with an extreme IQ. So, I am attempting a new way. I am working on trying to get the most out of their public educations by working at home.

These first ideas are for beginning writers, but all my kids like doing this. I use the heavy-duty sheet protectors and white-board markers. they erase very well and I can keep the pages in a binder for easy use.
We practice the "up and around" method of writing circles,
touch pull down for lines,
touch push-across for horizontal lines
and for the diagonals, touch slant right, or touch slant left. These are harder for the kids to learn.

I have also included some basic drawing tracing pages.

I am going to link in some ideas for early readers "at home" ideas. Feel free to comment, criticize or offer advice. anything is appreciated!
